Julie is a native Sanduskian and a graduate of Sandusky High School. [Disclaimer] She initially became involved with city government in 2000 when she was appointed as a member, and subsequently the Chairperson, of the Sandusky Recreation Board. [Disclaimer]
From 2004 - 2007, Julie served on the Sandusky Board of Education. She holds a Certification from North Central Technical College in Activity Therapy and is employed by the Ohio Veteran's Home [Disclaimer] as an Activity Therapist.
Julie is married and has two children.

She has additional leadership training from Northwestern University [Disclaimer] where she is also an adjunct instructor and teaches budgeting preparation and management courses nationally. She has served in Law Enforcement for 27 years.
Kim is married and has six children. She lives in Sandusky with her husband, Jim.
