CITY OF SANDUSKY
WELCOME TO THE CITY OF SANDUSKY
Located on Sandusky Bay, Sandusky has over 22 miles of shoreline within the city limits. We are the governmental seat of Erie County and are noted for our beautifully landscaped parks, our historical architecture and the Sandusky Bay Pathway. The City's Mission is to achieve the highest quality of life for our community through focused economic development effort, the delivery of world-class public service, and the promotion of open communication for all.
2010 CENSUS
The U.S. Census is performed every 10 years in the United States and an accurate count of residents is extremely important. This number determines our Congressional districts/representation, and allows for distribution of state and federal grant dollars to the community. Funding for programs and services could be severely reduced without an accurate count.

A Solar Array at the City's Greenhouse, 620 Elm Street, now provides a functioning model to demonstrate how location and environmental conditions affect solar electric production. You can view how much electric this solar array generates as well as how much we are reducing the production of greenhouse gasses.
