Coffee With A Cop
It’s a simple concept. Police and community members come together in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships, and drink coffee. Sandusky has joined over 175 cities and towns in 36 states, in instituting Coffee with a Cop to build community trust, police legitimacy and partnership building with members of the community. Coffee With A Cop is held at different restaurants within our corporate limits once each month.
Click it or Ticket Program
Each year the Sandusky Police Department joins with thousands of police departments nationwide to participate in the national Click it or Ticket awareness campaigns. We have received statewide recognition for our participation in this event, and have consistently ranked in the top ten percent of police departments statewide for our campaign efforts.
Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over
The Sandusky Police Department, in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, provides additional enforcement to crack down on drunk drivers in an effort to stop this deadly epidemic. You can help spread the word and save lives.
