This year the Summer Park Program will be focused on Foxborough park. Sign your child(ren) up for the entire seven weeks. This program will be fun and adventurous for our youth. Jackie "Momma" Collins Track Meets
In memory of Momma Collins, Blue Streak supporter and Sandusky Recreation Board Member. Events include 40 yd. and 60 yd. dash for ages 2 - 5 and 60 yd. dash, 100 meter, 200 meter, 400 meter and 800 meter runs for ages 6 - 13. Softball throw and long jump are offered to ages 2 - 13. On the day of the meet, registration is from 5 pm - 5:30 pm and the track meets will start at 5:30 pm. Camp is sponsored by the Sandusky High School Athletic Boosters and Sandusky Recreation. Track meets will be held on Monday(s) and the following Tuesday will be held as the rain date wtih the exception of the July meet. |

Golf
Sandusky High School Golf Coach, Dave Colatrugilo will provide instruction on all facets of the popular sport of golf including allocated time for rounds of golf throughout the week. Golf clubs are available for use from the clubhouse. Tennis
Join Sandusky High School coach Sarah Franklin and players for a 3-day tennis camp. Campers will work on the development of basic tennis skills. The camp will also stress agility drills and sportsmanship. Please wear tennis shoes and bring a tennis racquet. Racquets will also be provided upon request. Community Sailing
Kids will be able to experience sailing in the bay while learning the benefits of living on the shores of Lake Erie. The program, hosted by the Sandusky Junior Sailors, aims to help make participants more comfortable on the water and to feel proud of where they live. Wightman-Wieber Safety Town
The City of Sandusky Fire, Police and Parks & Recreation Department invite Sandusky-area children who are entering kindergarten to take part in Safety Town. Individuals may only participate in Safety Town one time. Children will learn fire safety, stranger danger, 9-1-1/emergencies, road and railroad safety, bus safety, animal safety, water safety, health and home safety, and disaster preparedness. Each participant will receive a bicycle helmet, t-shirt and certificated of completion and a goodie bag filled with a variety of helpful resources. Living the Wildlife at Mills Creek
Join the Erie Conservation District for a one-day camp for those interested in archery and what lives in Mills Creek, other than golf balls. Learn how to shoot a compound bow and have fun stomping in a local stream looking for macroinvertebrates. Lunch and all equipment will be provided.
